Happy Culture has been one of the greatest honours of my career thus far — the iconic South African gut health brand, known for launching one of the country’s first and most-loved commercial kombucha, and rooted in the mission to spark more joy and energy in everyday life. I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with founder Manon Colmant for over three years as Head Digital Designer and Brand Manager, leading a wide range of creative projects throughout the brand’s journey of growth. My role has spanned website design, creative direction, packaging, email flow strategy and design, social media and community management, illustration, and content design for both digital and print advertising.
Today, Happy Culture is the most followed kombucha brand in South Africa, with a social media following of 50,000+, and is proudly stocked in several major national retailers, including Dischem, Checkers, Pick n Pay, and Spar.
